The Mashpee Commons / Places to shop
The well Renown Mashpee Commons is a very short drive from our communities (5 Minutes at most) and within walking distance from country club and Quashnet Valley Estates. There you will find many variety and boutique stores to shop from. There are many restaurants to select from for example Bobby Byrnes, Trevi, Panera Bread and more. Right outside the Commons is the 99 Restaurant and Cooks Seafood. If you just want to see a movie you can check out Mashpee Regal Cinemas or if you just want to bowl you can visit the Lanes Bowl and Bistro. If you just want to check out a book visit the Mashpee town library located in the Mashpee common, this one of a kind facility. The Mashpee Commons is truly a magical Place with a classic New England town feel that can’t be matched and is even more breathtaking light up at night.
The town and Sate beaches are just a short drive from all of our communities 8 minutes at most. There you can fly a kite, take a long walk and check out the New Seabury beach, Lounge, Swim, enjoy an ice cream and on a clear sunny day you can gaze at Martha’s Vineyard.
The Cape Cod Fairgrounds
The Cape Cod Fairgrounds is just a short drive from all of our communities 5 minutes at most. Every Year the Cape Cod fairgrounds presents the county fair. This fair holds a large assortment of rides, games, barnyard animals and even has a car derby. This week long event is perfect for your family, there you will have fu, win prizes, indulge in an ice cream, listen to music and bask in a memorable summer’s night that you will talk about for years.
Walking Trails /Hiking/ Biking
There are many walking and hiking trails in Mashpee. There are beautiful walking trails all along the Quashnet valley golf course allowing you to relish in natures beauty at its finest. Parkside is adjacent to the Mashpee River Woodlands.
Mashpee Senior Center
The Senior center is located right next to Mashpee Fire and Police Departments and is within walking distance of country Club and Quashnet Valley Estates. There you can converse with friends and participate in many of the activities they offer there.
Country Club and Quashnet Valley Estates Surround the Quashnet Valley Golf Course and is just a 5 minute drive from both Parkside and Spring Hill. Quashnet Valley is truly one of the best public golf courses and most beautiful golf courses public or private on Cape Cod that could not be duplicated today. This challenging golf course meanders through pine oak forests providing views of the Quashnet River and tranquil ponds. This Course is situated around tree lined fairways and 330 acres of natural setting where you can bask in the essence of the outdoors.
New Seabury/ Willowbend
Both New Seabury and Willowbend are just a short drive from our communities and is in Parkside’s backyard. Willowbend is a private community locates near the small town of Cotuit. New Seabury is both private and public. New Seabury is located right on the ocean giving way t many picturesque views and the views from the golf course will take your breath way. You can also check out Poppy place a small marketplace with some shops and the famous Mashpee raw bar at New Seabury
Cape Cod Melody Tent
The Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis is about 30 minutes from all of our communities and is open during the summer’s months The Cape cod Melody Tent is a small venue/ concert Hall that gives way to the biggest names in the music industry today. There you will listen to your favorite artists, watch a play laugh with your favorite comedian attend the very popular Cape Cod Chowder Fest. This place is perfect for your friends or family where you can have a fun tine enjoying a Cape Cod Summer night.
